Merry Christmas! Now that the craziness of the holidays are over, I can finally blog! The holidays were great. I love spending time with my family. Now the biggest trouble is the two feet of snow that has accumulated over the past two days. Unfortunately this means being stuck in the house for two days when I want to be out enjoying my vacation. But, lots of snow meant lots of movies, good goodies, and fun in the snow!
I really do love being Home for Christmas,

Home for the Holidays
That's right, I'm home!! Unfortunately, my plan did not go as I thought it would. On Tuesday in the middle of the night, I went to the Health Center at my college with a 101.4 fever. I stayed there over night into the next day and had to miss my finals on Wednesday and Thursday and came home early to see my own doctor. Knowing that what I have is only viral, I just have to wait it out.
What's a better way to do that than spending endless hours watching Christmas movies!? So far I've watched Santa Clause 2, Santa Clause 3, This Christmas, Elf, and now I'm onto the Grinch. Hopefully I'll be better by tomorrow, because I have a big day planned with my family! We're going to go shopping during the day (because its so hard to shop while I've been away) and watch White Christmas and make cookies at night. Watching White Christmas is a tradition my family has had since my sister and I were little. But for some reason, as I get older, I can't manage to not fall asleep during the movie. This could be because we start it later and later each year. But this year, I'll make it through the whole thing, and maybe even get up to sing and dance while watching it.
Although I'm still feeling ill, it feels great to be home with my mom, dad, sister, and grandma. Their love is going to get me better in no time. Hopefully I'll be able to blog in a few days saying I'm feeling brand new.
There truly is no place like Home for the Holidays,

A Little Bit Longer- Jonas Brothers
Because I am currently sitting in a library cubicle, I am trying to do anything other than study for my Spanish final. I have made ElfYourself videos of my roommates and myself and have checked all websites possible. Go to the ElfYourself website here and make your own video. It'll guarantee lots of laughs!
I have also listened to a bunch of songs on my iTUNES. Here are a few of my favorite slow, calming songs to listen to while studying:
Shades of Love- Empty Trash
Secrets- OneRepublic
What Hurts the Most- Danny Gokey
Hold You In My Arms- Ray LaMontagne
Stop and Stare- OneRepublic
Well my break is over. I guess this means back to studying!
Hoping this studying will only last A Little Bit Longer,

Over My Head (Cable Car) ... The Fray
I can successfully say that I finished my first semester of college classes! Has it really been four months since I moved into this new place that I now call home? Now I just have to get through five final exams, and I will be free! One week keeps me away from my Christmas filled home! However, this will be a very LONG and STRESSFUL week, most likely full of blood, sweat, and tears. But I have caffeine, sugar, tissues, band-aids ready, and dance tunes and awesome roommates to get me through it!
Wish me luck, as I get my last official night of sleep before finals begin. :X

twlight...
"Sometimes I wondered if I was seeing the same things through my eyes that the rest of the world was seeing through theirs. Maybe there was a glitch in my brain."
I finally decided to jump on the ever popular "Twilight Saga Band Wagon". It only took me a year and a half, but two days ago, I decided to start reading Twilight. I have seen the first two movies, but I had not read the books. I understand why everyone is drawn to the series. You can put any face and features to the characters, making the mysterious Edward even more attractive. Only on page 40, I can already tell I am going to enjoy the series.

And Left And Right And Left And Right...
This is the pace that I and 117 other girls must march up a hill. No, we are not going to war, we are simply practicing for our Graduation Ceremony. However graduation is not that simple. Try taking a twenty minute march up a hill, at a slow pace, to Pomp and Circumstance. Now add high heels and the scorching sun. Today was only the second practice. There are still five more long practices to come, and it is supposed to be 92 degrees out tomorrow. Let's just hope it doesn't rain on Graduation Day after all our hard work.
