In my last post, I spoke about how I was crafting a lot over my spring break. I wanted to follow up with some pictures of what I made! My big and little absolutely loved them :)

Crafty times
I am in a sorority at my school, and I recently went through the Big & Little reveal process. At my school, we have a week where the bigs know who their little is, and leave them gifts everyday. I was very excited about this because I have always loved to craft (thank you Grandma Rose). I started crafting for my little in October over Fall Break. It was a little aggressive, but crafting is such a stress-reliever for me. It really makes me happy and not think about things for a little while.
So now that reveal week is over and I don't have to craft anymore, I was a little sad that I wouldn't have to craft over this Spring Break. However, I took a trip to AC Moore with my mom the other day and of course couldn't leave without buying a few wooden pieces to paint. I have a plan for crafting for my big and little, and can't wait to see the finished product!
Also, this may be my Spring Break, but theres news about a snow storm tonight!! I'm personally hoping my sister will have a snow day so she can hang out with me all day :)
I'm off to paint!

Not a baby anymore
You don't really realize how old you are until you get an email with the subject line: "FALL 2013 REGISTRATION", aka the first semester of my senior year. Commence freak out. Don't get me wrong, I am really excited for my senior year. I'll be 21, I'll be living in a house with some of my best friends, and I'll be enjoying many "lasts" at my amazing school; but I can't imagine not being at school anymore. I don't wanna think about being a real person with a job and real life obligations.
In an effort towards that, I'm currently applying to internships for this summer, which could hopefully turn into a job after I graduate. Let's hope I'm back in NYC this summer with an awesome internship! Thinking back on last summer, I'm getting excited to hopefully be back in the city again. Send some good vibes my way? Thanks friends!

Not a Tourist Anymore
Yesterday I had such an eventful day. My team and I had a Company BBQ at my boss' house in Hastings-on-Hudson. I was a little worried about the commute, but I successfully made it! I was able to sleep a little later, so my commute started at around 10am. I took my regular express bus into Bryant Park (one of my favorite areas of the city btw) and then walked to Grand Central Station. Of course I had to stop for my morning Starbucks on the way and got a tall iced Chai tea latte with whipped cream :) My bus arrived a little early so I had a nice amount of extra time left to wait around the station, so I explored a little. I then met up with some of my co-workers and we took a 40 minute Metro North train. The BBQ was great and it was so nice getting to be with my co-workers out of the office and not having to be working that day. I then successfully made the trip home as well. I came home to some friends of my family in the backyard and pizza waiting for me. All-in-all it was a nice Friday-- and now it's the weekend! This weekend I'll be relaxing, hanging by the pool, and maybe some shopping. What are your weekend plans?

My Week In Photos
Hello all,
So sorry I've been behind on blogging! This internship has kept me so busy, and when I get home I am so exhausted! But I've been trying to take advantage of being in the city everyday, and use my iPhone to capture some of my favorite moments. Here are some of my favorite Instagram pictures I took this past week. Enjoy!
On Tuesday, I went to get my nails done during lunch. The color was Essie's Smooth Sailing- my favorite color. |
I found this doodling on one of my dollar bills on Wednesday. Needless to say, I had to take a picture before I got rid of it. |
90 degrees on Thursday called for a cool top and great outfit to go with it. |
The heat Thursday also called for a nice Iced Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks. |
This is one of my favorite things about my office- the giant girl outside the women's restroom. |
Friday I had lunch out in front of the Flat Iron Building, right across from my office. |
My daddy works only a few stops away from me, so he met me at my office on Friday and took the bus home with me. |
I had a very successful weekend: Friday I went to a Demi Lovato concert, Saturday I went to a party with family friends, and Sunday I went to the beach with my sister and our close friend. |

Time Flies
On June 4th, 2010 I graduated from high school. Today, two years later, I started my first day of my summer internship at an advertising agency in New York City. Despite the bad weather, I think it was one of the best first days. The internship orientation was from 9-12 and then we met with our supervisors. I am working with Account Management, so I work on the relationship between our company and our clients. The office is so nice and I even have my own desk! The area around the building is also great, with a lot of different places to eat. There are a bunch of great interns, and I am so excited to get to know them. Its going to be a great ten weeks and I can't wait to get started!
Updates soon!
